Brian Kelley, Tyler Hubbard To Release Solo Music Apart from Florida Georgia Line {WATCH}

You could arguably say one of the biggest stories towards the end of 2020 was the rumored split of Florida Georgia Line’s duo Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard because of differences politically speaking. Both Kelley and Hubbard were quick to shut those rumors down, and they started off 2021 with some MAJOR news! They will be pursuing solo music along with the great things they have in store as a duo in the new year.

On New Year’s Day, the duo posted a longer instagram video talking to the fans about what is on the docket for 2021 and they’re plans, also about how excited they are to be back on tour and to potentially open a new restaurant once things return back to normal from the pandemic. The Cruise singers say that the downtime they’ve had over the past year has given them a new outlook on their music. “Kinda where I landed, man, is really falling in love with my guitar, and writing songs again, even more than ever”, Kelley mentioned talking about some of the things he cherished about spending time at home. He also mentioned that even though talks of “solo music” may come as surprise to fans, him and Hubbard have been talking about this for years, also mentioning that the duo are, “really creating some freedom for ourselves” to work outside the FGL duo.

But don’t worry FGL fans, they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. They will still be releasing their fifth studio album, Life Rolls On, in February, and as you can see in the video, they hope to soon be able to return to the road to perform for all of you!

So while Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard may be exploring music separately, Florida Georgia Line isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!
