Local 10-Year-Old’s Letter Helps Provide Newport News Shelter With Toys For Every Animal

Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter shared, “Connor took it upon himself to write a letter several local pet stores hoping to gather some new fun and exciting donations for the shelter animals.”

They went on to say, “Our good friends at the Pet Smart in Newport News helped fulfill Connors’s wish list and then some! They contacted Connor elated to share and support his passion with 2 car loads of donations for the animals.”

According to Wavy TV 10, every animal in the shelter got new toys to play with, and 30 families who adopted received care packages to take home with their new pets.
