Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram, and Jon Randall went about recording their new album ‘The Marfa Album’ in a unique way. The trio recorded much of the album outdoors to incorporate the ambient desert sounds and create a “transportive” atmosphere. Well now, fans will get to see the recording of the album in The Marfa Tapes Film.
The full-length film follows them on their five-day retreat as they visit the small town of Marfa, Texas in November 2020.
It is set to debut on Miranda’s Facebook page on Saturday, May 8, just one day after the release of the new record. Fans can watch it right here.
