Tim McGraw gets candid in a new interview with “Esquire” about his alcohol addiction.
“I remember a moment when I was getting out of bed and going to the liquor cabinet and taking a big shot at 8 in the morning and thinking, ‘I have to wake the kids up,'” he said.
“I went straight to my wife and said, ‘This is where I’m at,'” he continued. “I was scared. She just grabbed me and hugged me and changed my life.”
Years later, Tim is sober and is set to co-star with Faith in a prequel to the popular show “Yellowstone” this fall.
He also enlisted their daughter to star in his new music video.
