Keith Urban made his 20th appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (May 17) and looked back on some of his most memorable moments over the years.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air its last episode on Thursday, May 26th and to celebrate, Keith serenaded Ellen with “Blue Ain’t Your Color” before gifting her with the guitar he played.
Keith also talked about covering Dolly Parton songs as a kid before his voice changed and the possibility of doing a duet with the country music icon.
“I come from working-class parents and a rural kind of background in Australia, and the first time I met Dolly — she’s sung with me a few times — and the first time I met her it was surreal, because, I mean, I grew up singing her songs,” he told Ellen.
“As a matter of fact, I sang her songs because I was 9 years old, and my voice hadn’t broken yet, and I sounded like her — I could sing in her key,” he added.
