Portsmouth Humane Society is Dangerously Full and Seeks Foster Families to Help Save Lives

Portsmouth Humane Society is dangerously FULL and needs help from the community NOW. If you can’t adopt, you can still help save lives by fostering!

“Angela Lansbury‘ is up for adoption and is currently being cared for in a foster home. “Angie Bear” as they’ve nicknamed her likes snuggles, a good bone, and lots of hugs and kisses. Her foster parent says, “She is a constant by my side. She has the best ears that I have ever seen on any dog. One ear up and one ear down are a feature that makes her all the more adorable. She’s the best protector and has the biggest heart and smile”

When you foster, not only are you giving an animal a chance to become more adoptable (by recovering from illness or injury, or learning how to behave in a home), but you are enabling PHS to house another homeless animal in the shelter.

If you are interested in fostering, Text or call 757-414-6478, or e-mail [email protected] to save a life by temporarily keeping a pet in your home. Fostering is FREE and all supplies are provided.

If you are interested in meeting Angie Bear, email [email protected] or call/text 757-414-6478. Now through June 10, all medium and large dog adoption fees are only $75.
