Darius Rucker’s ‘Darius & Friends’ Event Raises Record-Setting $516K for St. Jude

Darius Rucker’s annual benefit concert for St. Jude raised a record total this year of $516,000!

The show, which took place on June 6th, included performances from Sheryl Crow, Sara Evans, Lindsay Ell, Caylee Hammack, and Rachel Wammack.

A very special appearance also took place from a St. Jude patient named Addie, who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 15 years old and has been in remission for the last 5 years. Addie sang “Never Be Enough” from the movie The Greatest Showman and received a standing ovation following her rendition.

Darius shared the news saying, “Year 13 of #DariusandFriends raised $516K for @StJude! I’m speechless. Thank you to everyone who came to @TheRyman, watched live at home, played in the golf tournament, or bought items from the auction. You did it for the kids! Can’t wait to do it again next year.”

Proceeds from the show were combined with the country singer’s “Darius & Friends” golf tournament and silent auction.
