Sparrow, a Sweet, Timid Beagle Mix, Seeks a Loving Home at Peninsula SPCA

Furry Friday brought to you by Line-X of Chesapeake

Jessica (Peninsula SPCA) Sparrow and Stephanie Taylor

Sparrow stopped by to visit for Furry Friday!  She is up for adoption at Peninsula SPCA. She is 1 year 1-year-old beagle mix who was found as a stray.  She’s a bit timid and shy at first but very sweet and loving once she gets to know you.  She just needs a little time to get adjusted to new people and environments.  We don’t know much about her history, including whether she gets along well with other dogs so if you have another dog in your home, you can bring them in for a meet and greet.

Sparrow does need to be spayed so if you’re interested in adopting you can foster to adopt!  Sparrow can settle into your home while she recovers from her surgery and then you can complete the adoption process.

Can’t adopt but still want to help? Open your hearts and homes to fostering!  Peninsula SPCA receives many pets that are too young or small, have health issues, or are too shy and scared to be adopted right away. We need you to be a foster care provider today!  If you are interested in becoming a foster, please complete the foster care application.

You can also help the Peninsula decorate the shelter for the holidays!  They are looking for new or gently used decorations, which you can drop off at the shelter on J. Clyde Morris Blvd.  They are also offering Black Friday specials so you can stop by and pick up a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or other Peninsula SPCA merchandise…they make great Christmas gifts!
