Luke Combs is set to open his very own bar in Nashville later this year and he took to Instagram this week to reveal the name of the venue.
Partnering with the renowned Opry Entertainment Group, Luke Combs has chosen to pay homage to his first-ever #1 hit, “Hurricane,” by naming his new venture “Category 10.” But why the jump from “Category 5” storms, as mentioned in the song, to “Category 10”? Well, Luke himself took to social media to explain it all in a video, where he revealed that Cat 5 is the biggest, so why not double it?
“Category 10” will be taking over the same space as the iconic Wildhorse Saloon, which sadly closed its doors earlier this month. They’re planning to roll out the red carpet in stages, with a sneak peek this summer and the grand opening by the end of the year.
