Country rocker Koe Wetzel celebrated the official grand opening of Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room Houston on Friday, June 20 amid back-to-back direct support slots on Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour at NRG Stadium.
Building on the success of the original Riot Room in Fort Worth, the new Houston location takes things to the next level with an immersive experience inside an 8,000-square-foot, two-story venue.

Located right in the heart of Midtown Houston, Riot Room can host nearly 700 guests and is designed with the Texas native’s edgy spirit in mind. The venue breaks the mold with bold, one-of-a-kind features that reflect his rebellious spirit.

Inside, a full-sized pontoon boat brings laid-back lake vibes straight into the club, while a DJ booth built into a Ford pickup engine bay adds a gritty, unexpected twist.
Fans can snap photos in a custom-built jail cell or atop a bucking bull, both designed for unforgettable moments.

Outside, a vintage pickup truck is suspended on the building’s exterior, making a striking first impression, and Wetzel’s lyrics glow in neon throughout the space, setting the tone for a truly immersive experience. The venue also showcases exclusive photos and memorabilia that give fans a deeper connection to Wetzel and his music.

To top it all off, Riot Room Houston features an upgraded kitchen with a brand-new menu, including Houston-only items that make this location unlike any other.
Koe Wetzel continues to ride a career high following the success of his fifth studio album, 9 Lives, and its lead single “High Road” (feat. Jessie Murph). The track marked Wetzel’s debut at Country radio and went on to hold the No. 1 spot for five weeks. Additionally, “High Road” became his fastest song to reach RIAA Platinum status to date.
On the personal front, Wetzel is soaking up life as a new dad to daughter Woods Madison Wetzel, who was born on May 23rd.
Next up, Wetzel is slated to perform at several high profile festivals, including Windy City Smokeout, Country Concert, Headwaters Country Jam, and Boots and Hearts Music Festival. Later, he will join HARDY’s Jim Bob World Tour.
