13 Semis Line Detroit Freeway to Help Man Considering Suicide [VIDEO]

A line of truckers along with the Michigan State Police helped a man who was considering suicide on a highway overpass.

Police received a call about a man on a bridge over I-696 early Tuesday morning around 1 a.m and troopers began to block off all lanes of traffic  Then they called for some extra help- from truck drivers!  They asked several semi-truck drivers to park under the underpass to shorten the distance the man would fall if he jumped.

Thankfully, the man did not jump and the situation ended as the man walked off the bridge. He was taken by Huntington Woods Police to Beaumont hospital for evaluation.
