Lance Bass may have been outbid for the Brady Bunch house, but the winning bidder is leaving the front door open for him. The ‘NSYNC singer thought the iconic home was all his until HGTV came in with a higher bid and swooped it up. Lance was devastated, but the home improvement channel has extended a special invitation to him as a nice gesture. According to TMZ, HGTV reached out to Bass about having a role in its plans for the house. The network wants to film a show about restoring the house to its 1970s design and wants Bass to be involved in some capacity. Talk About It: If he can’t own the house, this is the next best thing.

Paul McCartney’s Carpool Karaoke Is Coming Back as a Primetime Special:  The “Carpool Karaoke” heard ‘round the world is coming back, CBS announced Tuesday. “The Late Late Show,” has enough unused footage from the wildly popular segment – featuring Paul McCartney and James Corden singing and driving around Liverpool – to create an hour-long prime-time special. The original “Carpool Karaoke” aired in June, went viral almost instantly, and has been viewed almost 30 million times. It features McCartney and Corden joyfully singing the Beatles hit “Penny Lane” as they drive along on the actual Penny Lane in Liverpool. The special will air on CBS on August 20th.

IS BRAD PITT STRUGGLING TO MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIP WITH KIDS? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not in a good place right now, exchanging court filings accusing each other of manipulation amid their contentious split. According to TMZ, Pitt is having trouble maintaining his relationship with their six children amid the drama. Pitt is reportedly spending much of his summer in England, where Jolie is filming Maleficent 2, so he can spend his court-ordered time with the kids. The parents are reportedly not interacting at all, and all “hand-offs” of the kids happen between nannies and assistants.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO’S DOUBLE CHIN GETS CROPPED OUT OF PROMO: Hollywood often gets slammed for photoshopping women, but it seems men aren’t immune to the nip and tuck either. Page Six noticed that Sony accidentally uploaded an unedited image file of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt posing for Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. In addition to a smoother, fat-free version of DiCaprio’s chin, the blooper shot features Pitt’s neck wrinkles. Sony told Page Six: “The actors did not request any retouching of photography from Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. We take full responsibility for the error.”

RANDY JACKSON RESPONDS TO WIFE’S DIVORCE FILINGS: It took four years, but it’s happening! According to The BlastAmerican Idol judge Randy Jackson is citing irreconcilable differences in his split from Erika Jackson. The pair were married in 1995. They share two children. Jackson indicated that he is willing to pay spousal support, but wants each side to pony up their own legal fees.

The Academy Awards has made some changes designed to keep the show “relevant in a changing world.” The big addition is a new award category for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Film. The Academy will also will shorten the telecast to three hours to make the ceremony “more accessible for our viewers worldwide” and to do that some of the awards will be handed out during commercial breaks.
