Why Kane Brown covers non-country songs in concert

In between his hits like “Heaven” and “Lose It,” Kane Brown has been doing some non-country covers on his first ever tour.

You’ll hear him play everything from Sean Kingston to Marshmello on his Live Forever Tour, and he wants people to know the reason why.
“I really do that for the people who don’t listen to country music or maybe this is their first country concert,” Brown tells Taste of Country in a recent interview. “That cover mashup really gets the crowd wound up. I feed off the energy I get through them.”

You can read the full article here, and catch Kane Brown in concert at the Union Bank & Trust 15th Annual Patriotic Festival at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on Sunday, June 2. Get tickets and more info here.
