Busch Gardens Summer Nights [PICS]

So one of my favorite parts about living in Hampton Roads is that there is so much to do in the surrounding areas. Whether it’s the many beaches we have accessible to us, the countless breweries and local eateries, or the historical landmarks that are just right down the road, this area is one of the best places in the world. One of those reasons is because we have one of the biggest theme parks in the country only an hour away in Williamsburg, Virginia. That theme park is one I am very familiar with growing up in this area, going with my family every summer, riding the roller coasters, the tea cups (low-key the best ride at the park), and enjoying the festivities that is involved. I was able to do something yesterday that I have never done at Busch Gardens in my entire life. And that is experience Busch Gardens Summer Nights.

So I got off the air at 3pm, and drove to Williamsburg, once I got to the park, my goal was to try and find as much of the Summer Nights special features they were offering. So I walked around, got some food, my fiance, Katie, who went with me got herself a Sangria in Germany (which was amazing!) and we ended up getting a chocolate covered pretzel twist (video down below), and just enjoy the park a little bit more. We made our way back to London and the Globe Theater for what I can honestly say was one of the most mind blowing performances I have ever witnessed by anyone playing a musical instrument. William Close & The Earth Harp Collective was the act performing, this guy won the bronze at AGT a few years ago, so I was intrigued. He started playing and what really sold me on the act was the rendition he did of the Game of Thrones theme song, which was incredible. Him and his other bandmates played a few more tunes and then that was the end of that. But I think the thing that was most incredible, is I sat back and watched him play his Earth Harp, and I still have NO IDEA how he does it.

After the show we walked around the park some more ate some incredible ribs from New France, and headed home. You can see some of the action from the post down below. But I highly recommend you check out Busch Gardens this summer for Summer Nights. They’ve got incredible things going on all summer and you’ll want to be apart of it!
