Chase Rice’s first concert was a Garth Brooks show back when he was just 11 years old.
So it was a first circle moment when Garth asked him to open up at his Detroit show on Saturday.
When Garth asks you to come to Detroit with him to open at Ford Field for a sold out stadium, you go. See y’all Saturday! https://t.co/H4yxooK2b1 pic.twitter.com/ku3ITCG8zT

Chase shared a touching moment holding his baby nephew before the show.
First concert I ever saw when I was 11 years old was Garth Brooks. Now I’m sitting here holding my nephew for HIS first concert, Garths soundcheck here in Detroit just a few hours before we take the stage with him. More than grateful👏🏼 Thank you God. https://t.co/ZtXGu1PYjH pic.twitter.com/5LTPSeSRzD

“It’s hard to comprehend, to be honest,” Rice told Billboard on his tour bus before the show. “I’m just trying to take it all in and enjoy the night.”
Chase had other family members on hand as well, including his niece and two nephews and they had a sign that read “First Show: Garth and Uncle Chase.”
Favorite part of our show with Garth this weekend👏🏼https://t.co/9TTSmxLDht pic.twitter.com/sSLBMSmwm4
