When the Today Show’s Hoda Kotb heard about an Arizona couple who had to cancel their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic, she jumped in to help.
Hoda surprised the couple by crashing their Zoom and officiating their online wedding!
The bride, Melanie Mulvihill, was completely surprised when Kotb popped onto the screen during a Zoom session with the couple’s family, friends and pastor.
“Hi Hoda!” she said, looking shocked as the “Today” co-anchor greeted her.
Hoda went one step further too and enlisted the couple’s favorite singer, Russel Dickerson to join as well.
After the couple exchanged their vows, Russell appeared to perform their wedding song so they could share their first dance together as a married couple.
