Assemble your Disaster Supplies
Have enough non-perishable food, water and medicine to last each person in your family a minimum of three days. Don’t forget cash, a battery-powered radio and flashlights.
Remember Your Pets
Create an emergency pet kit for your pet with extra food, water, medicine and supplies.
-
Find pet friendly hotels along your evacuation route and keep a list in your pet’s emergency kit.
-
Locate boarding facilities or animal hospitals near your evacuation shelter.

Strengthen Your Home:
Have the proper plywood, steel or aluminum panels to board up the windows and doors. Remember, the garage door is the most vulnerable part of the home, so it must be able to withstand the winds.
And don’t forget to reach out to others who may need help.
