News flash!!! Hugh Jackman is out as Wolverine! Don’t be sad, I’m sure they’ll find some English actors to reprise the role. No, seriously, who can play Wolverine now that Hugh Jackman is out?
Did you know that Bob Haskins was set to play Wolverine in the early 90s? Bob Haskins was the guy who starred opposite Roger Rabbit. He also played “Smee” in the movie, “Hook.” Then, after Russell Crowe’s success wit “Gladiator” in 2000, the studio wanted Crowe. He turned it down and recommended Hugh Jackman.
There’s rumor and speculation online that Taron Egerton is set to play the short-fused vigilante. In case you’ve forgotten, Taron Egerton played Elton John in “Rocketman.” I still haven’t seen the movie, but you’ll need a guy who’s a great character actor. He could pull it off.
Some of the other names that have been thrown out there are Jason Mamoa, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, and Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe.
Personally, I think Radcliffe could pull it off. Who do you think?
