Feel Good Story! Three weeks ago, a customer paid it forward and bought a cup of coffee for the next customer at a cafe in my hometown of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Anita Crossfield, the owner of the cafe, Italian Station, thought maybe it would last for a few hours, but it’s been three weeks now and it’s still going!
As of Monday afternoon, Italian Station downtown said it has had nearly 1,200 customers pay forward the cost of a cup of coffee for each next customer, topping the record of 900, at a Starbucks location.
Anita said she is so proud of her community but not surprised. “We’ll let it keep rolling as long as it can,” she said. “It’s been fun for us and for our customers.”
