911, what’s your emergency?

Let me ask you a question, what’s the non-emergency number to the police? I’ll wait…you have no idea, right? Nobody does! Including me.

I’ve only had to call 911 a handful of times. Usually, my adrenaline is going crazy and my heart is about to beat out of my chest because something crazy has just happened. I mean, that’s usually why you would call 911, right? For regular folks, like you and me, we only call the emergency line if we have to. That’s not the case for everyone.

I have a friend of mine who works as a 911 dispatcher and she has agreed to share with us some of the more unusual reasons why some folks reach out for help.
