Lauren Alaina is branching out from songwriting to writing a book! The country singer announced she will release a self-help book this fall.
According to CMT, Getting Good at Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be chronicles Alaina’s journey to the spotlight, delving into her time on both American Idol and Dancing With the Stars.
Lauren shared with fans, “Be sure to BOOK your calendars for November 2nd. I’m releasing my WRITE of passage, Getting Good At Being You. Can’t wait for you to read it. It’s available for preorder online everywhere books are sold and on shelves in November. Thank you times a million to Trisha Yearwood for writing the foreword.”

Lauren isn’t the only county star turned author. Brett Young will release children’s book Love You, Little Lady on Aug. 24. Jimmie Allen has his children’s book My Voice is a Trumpet out on July 13, while on June 29, and Kelsea Ballerini announced a book of poetry, Feel Your Way Through, to hit stores Nov. 16.
