What’s the oldest thing you have in your medicine cabinet? Do they still call it a medicine cabinet? If you ask me, it doesn’t get any better than Vicks Vapor rub when you’re not feeling well. If you had an old school grandma like mine, she would use Vicks to pretty much fix anything. I remember a time when my grandmother lathered me up in Vicks and tied a sock around my neck. I woke up the next day feeling like a hundred bucks! She was really on to something.
My wife and I will have debates on expiration dates when it comes to medicine. My wife thinks the minute of medicine expires, it goes bad. Well, you better not tell that to this granda who’s still rocking her Vicks Vapor rub from the 1980s. I’m telling you right now, if you were to go in and inspect my mother-in-laws house, you would find something like this in one of her drawers that she still uses.
Can you beat this? Do you have anything in your home that expired in the 1980s? I don’t believe you for one second. Share it in the comments. Take a look at this beauty!
My son has been sick (not Covid) and shout out to my mom, who loaned us the SAME pot of Vicks she used to use on me growing up.
