The show will go on for Eric Church.  The singer and his band were set to perform in Pittsburg and Philadelphia this weekend but it will be Eric on his own now after a couple of his bandmates contracted breakthrough cases of COVID.

Eric shared in a message on social media:

“Despite thorough safety protocols, a limited number of breakthrough COVID-19 cases have occurred within the Eric Church band.

In the best interest of everyone’s health and safety, Eric Church will perform this weekend’s shows in Pittsburg and Philadelphia as a special solo performance.

This isn’t the first time Eric has gone solo. At CMA Fest 2019, Eric sent the band home and performed a 30-minute, 17-song acoustic medley completely by himself.
