Chesapeake Native Lana Scott Wins Knockout Round on ‘The Voice’ {WATCH}

Chesapeake’s own Lana Scott lived out her “Wildest Dreams” on The Voice this week.

Lana took on the Taylor Swift song in the knockout rounds where she was paired against fellow Team Blake country singer Carson Peters.

Peters sang the classic George Strait “Amarillo By Morning” and Blake had a tough choice on his hands.

He told the two, “Lana, up until right now, you’ve flown under the radar a little bit on the show, which by the way, is not a bad thing. You sounded really good today, like, wow!”

“Carson, it’s impressive to come out here and to do a George Strait song, but that’s a tall order, and having said that, I think you did everything you could do to showcase your vocals. But I have to make a decision based on what just happened here right now,” he added.

In the end, Blake picked Lana over Carson to move on to the live playoffs
