Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris joined us together this morning. We talked about the holidays coming up and the new family traditions they are looking forward to with their son.
Cash asked Ryan about writing songs for other artists and how he decides which songs to keep for himself.
Ryan says there is a story arch to his new album “there’s definitely a relationship arch to it.”
The couple is nominated together for CMA Music video of the Year for their duet “Chasin’ After You.” Ryan says that would really be Maren’s award though, “Maren worked so closely on the actual treatment for the video with T.K…That’s the one I’m really hopeful for.”
