Help Marco, Chesapeake Animal Services’ Longest Resident, Find a Home

Marco is up for adoption at Chesapeake Animal Services.  He was brought in as a stray in September and is CAS’s longest resident.

This sweet guy is very affectionate and greets everyone who comes to meet him.

He is about 3-years-old, does well with other cats (although he does like to be the boss) and he loves treats!

Marco has a few hot spots where he is itchy but with proper care, his sensitivities can be managed.

He would make a great addition to any family.

Dogs and cats like the ones pictured below are why we’re dedicated to helping pets find forever homes. The Chesapeake Animal Services “Guardian Angel” Program allows caring people in our community to sponsor an adoption for a deserving animal.

The “Guardian Angel” program is a way to save animal lives and help people experience the joy and unconditional love of pet ownership. Shelter animals are our most vulnerable pets. The time they can humanely live in cages is limited. Chesapeake Animal Services is working hard every day to save these precious lives one animal at a time.

That is where you come in.

Without compassionate people like you…an animal may never find a home and family.

Through the “Guardian Angel” program you may choose to sponsor a specific animal’s adoption or let the staff pick! You may choose a dog, cat, kitten or puppy.

Mail or bring your form to:
