Taffy is a One-Year-Old Calico Found as a Stray with Her Kittens Who Nees a Home

Stephanie visited Chesapeake Animal Services for Furry Friday this week and met Taffy.

Taffy was found as a stray and brought to the shelter along with her three newborn kittens. Her babies are currently in foster care until they are ready to be adopted and Taffy is now spayed and ready to find a home of her own.

She is a friendly girl who loves to be around people and chirps as soon as you approach her. Taffy is also a big fan of treats and face scratches as well!

Chesapeake Animal Services is launching a Spring-Into-Action Adoption Event! Beginning April 1st through April 30th, all adoption fees for dogs and cats ages 1 year and older are just $35.

May be a cartoon of text that says 'SPRING INTO ACTION ADOPTION EVENT! $35 ADOPTIONS FOR CATS AND DOGS!* WHEN: APRIL 1-30 WHERE: MILITARYHWY CHESAPEAKE CHESAPEAKE ANIMAL SERVICES 2100 BEA HERO FOR HOMELESS PETS! *AGE YEAR AND OLDER Chesapeake VIRGINIA AnimalServices Animal Services'

Can’t adopt? Ask about their Snout and About program, which gives dogs the opportunity to spend time outside of the shelter. A trip to the park, a nice lunch at a dog-friendly restaurant, or a relaxing drive around town are just some ideas for those wishing to take a shelter dog Snout and About!
