This Apple Feature Lets You Fake Eye Contact on FaceTime

Next time you are checking yourself out on Facetime instead of looking at the other person, try this new filter.

Twitter user @WSig shared the new feature available to users. According to Mashable, Apple  beta-tested it in iOS 13 as the “FaceTime Attention Correction,” and it is now available as the “Eye Contact” feature with the release of iOS 14.

The feature is available iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, provided they’re running iOS 14 or iOS 15.

Twitter users responded to the update calling it ‘creepy.’
