Lainey Wilson took to TikTok to share a message to the family of a newborn recovering in the NICU from open-heart surgery.

In the original clip, set to Lainey’s new song “Heart Like a Truck,” TikTok user Tad Thornton shared a video of his baby girl, Asa in the NICU.

According to the family’s GoFundMe page, Asa was born weighing just 4 lbs 13 oz.  Shortly after her birth, she required open-heart surgery to correct a rare heart defect.

Her father has been sharing updates on her page, @theamazingasa and one of her videos made its way to Lainey.

The country singer shared a duet on the platform saying, “You are beautiful and if anybody’s got a heart like a truck, it’s you. You keep on fighting.”
