WATCH: Hardy Calls Out His Haters in ACM Honors Speech


The 2022 ACM Honors aired on Tuesday, September 13rd and Hardy was among the honorees.

The singer-songwriter accepted his Songwriter of the Year trophy and gave a rousing speech calling out his haters.

He told a story about performing at a songwriter’s round in Nashville seven years ago.  During the performance, a tip jar was left out and Hardy shared that someone put a napkin with the word “Quit” in it.

“Tonight, that ‘Quit’ napkin will be sitting right beside this f—-r,” Hardy told the audience.

Hardy is currently climbing the charts with his new single “Wait in the Truck” with Lainey Wilson.

He is also nominated for CMA New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year.  The show takes place on November 9th on ABC.
