I went to visit Portsmouth Humane Society this week where I met Thea, who is up for adoption.

Thea came to Portsmouth Humane Society as a stray.  She is about 2 years old and is very playful and friendly.

She is SUPER smart too.  She knows how to sit and will wait patiently for a treat. Come by Portsmouth Humane Society Monday, Wednesday-Sunday from 12 pm – 5 pm to meet Thea.  Learn more about adopting here.

Thea would love for you to join us as we raise lifesaving funds for the animals in our care and our community at the 14th Annual Cause for Paws on September 24th! This event is fun “fur” the whole family – pets included! Cause for Paws includes a Pet Festival with pet-friendly activities, contests, and vendors alongside a 5K/1-Mile Run/Walk. Proceeds provide food, medical care, and shelter for homeless animals at our shelter.

Cause for Paws takes place at Festival Park in Downtown Portsmouth from 10 am – 2 pm.
