Miranda Lambert Helped Honor Victims on the Fifth Anniversary of the Vegas Shooting


Saturday, October 1st marked the 5th anniversary of the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting in Las Vegas that left 60 dead, and over 800 wounded.  It’s still the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Jason Aldean took to social media to reflect on the anniversary saying, “My Route 91 Family! 5 years later and it’s still a rough day. Thinking about all you guys today.”

Chris Young shared, “I will never forget this night as long as I live. For those who lost loved ones, my heart is with you and I’m thinking about you today”

and Miranda Lambertis in Vegas for her Velvet Rodeo residency, so she and her crew turned up for the Vegas Strong 5K that raises money for victims’ families.

Miranda wrote, “Band and crew up early this morning to be part of the Vegas Strong 5k/1M to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Oct 1, Route 91 Harvest Festival. Sending love and light to all the victims, survivors, first responders, our live nation family, and all of those affected.”
