Feel Good Story of the Day!

A deaf dog in North Dakota fell into an open sewer drain on Saturday and wiggled his way into a pipe.  But firefighters and city workers dug for three hours and got him out.

According to Storyful, the 13-year-old blue heeler mix “fell through an open drain” in an apartment complex.

Rescuers worked for “around three hours of excavating the sewer pipe” until they were able to break open the pipe and rescue the dog.”

A spokesperson for the City of West Fargo told Storyful, “West Fargo Fire Department would like to thank the City of West Fargo’s Public Works and Engineering Departments for their assistance in saving this four-legged resident of West Fargo.”
