Miranda Lambert Leads the List of Grammy Nominees for Country Music

The nominees for the 2023 Grammy Awards have been announced and Miranda Lambert has dominated the country categories with four nods. Luke CombsMaren Morris and Willie Nelson each earn three nods, with Willie getting a bonus nomination in the Roots Gospel category. And congratulations to Cody Johnson, whose song “Til You Can’t” becomes his first Grammy-nominated work.

In addition, Lady A’s Hillary Scott was nominated with For King and Country in the Contemporary Christian Performance/Song category with their collaboration, “For God is With Us.”

Singer, songwriter, record producer and member of HighwomenBrandi Carlile received seven nominations, although none in country categories, tying her for the third most-nominated artist overall with Adele. Among her nominations are Best Americana Performance (“You and Me on the Rock”), Best Americana Album (In These Silent Days) and Best Rock Performance for “Broken Horses.”

Country’s cousin, Taylor Swift, received four nominations, including overall Song of the Year for “All Too Well” (10 Minute Version) and Best Song for Visual Media for “Carolina,” which she wrote for the film Where the Crawdads Sing.
