Parker McCollum met a nine-year-old leukemia survivor named Will at a meet-and-greet before a show in Oklahoma City last week.
During the show, McCollum invited the young fan onstage, where Will told the crowd, “Guess what, I’m kicking cancer’s [butt]!”

In a follow-up post on his page, his family writes, “Parker McCollum said it best. “Will rings the bell in a few days. He has beat leukemia.” That’s the first time we had heard anyone say that about Will. Excuse us for being emotional wrecks for the next few months. His next appointment will be a lab check. They likely won’t access his port since it will come out a few days later. Then he rings the bell! “
