Luke Bryan‘s humor got him in a little bit of trouble at Crash My Playa on Saturday when he introduced Dustin Lynch to the crowd.
The “Country On” singer took the stage saying, “The longest-standing representative of Crash My Playa. No one has drank more liquor, no one has vomited more, no one has taken more drugs, no one has taken more IVs, no one has passed more STD tests than this next gentleman.”
Perhaps realizing he went too far, he added this. Quote, “He’s got a clean bill, he does not have diseases. Give it up for Dustin Lynch.”
The video began making the rounds on TikTok with the caption, “What Luke Bryan said about Dustin Lynch is absolutely uncalled for! Nobody deserves an introduction to stage like Luke did to Dustin”

Fans flooded the comments with messages like, “Drunk or not, have more respect when introducing someone. So uncalled for.”
While another wrote, “I am beyond disappointed in what Luke said. That was not cool at all.”
Luke issued an apology yesterday. The singer shared on his Instagram story that his “absurd” words were supposed to be taken as sarcasm. He added that he spoke to Dustin and they’re “all good.”
”I figured everybody would take it as sarcasm. Obviously some people didn’t. I spoke to Dustin. I love him. He and I are all good and I apologize to anybody that doesn’t understand my humor and sarcasm,” Luke added. “It’s been going on like that down there for years. We’ll see y’all next year. Go download Dustin’s new single [‘Stars Like Confetti’]. Love y’all.”
Dustin responded on his Instagram story as well saying, “Thx for the call, love ya bro. All good. We had a lot of fun down there again with the pirates.”
Looks like they guys are all good. They teamed up together to sing “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” during their set.

And if his apology wasn’t enough, Luke later tweeted that Dustin will be able to seek revenge at next year’s Crash My Playa.
This is one hundred percent happening. @dustinlynch will be in doing my introduction next year at @crashmyplaya. He has 358 days to compose it. You will not wanna miss it.
