We Tried Dolly Parton’s New Brownie Mixes to Find Out Which One is Best [WATCH]

Dolly Parton is a national treasure.  The country music singer has given us iconic songs like “I Will Always Love You” and “Jolene,” movies like ‘9-5’ and has donated over a million books to children in need through her Imagination Library.

If all that wasn’t enough, she’s now giving us some of her favorite recipes through her partnership with Duncan Hines. Dolly’s first release of mixes included a Southern Banana Cake and Southern Coconut Cake.  (Check out our taste test of both here and here.)

Her latest batch of mixes includes two brownie flavors, along with a cornbread and biscuit mix. We decided to try both brownies to see which one reigns supreme.

Annaliese baked Dolly’s Caramel Brownies and Stephanie made Dolly’s Pecan Pie Brownies.  We brought the finished products into the office to see which mix our co-workers liked best.

@973theeagle @dollyparton did it again! She made two incredible new mixes and while we loved them both, only one could win the taste test. #dollyparton #dollypartonbakingcollection #dollypartonbaking #baking #bakingtiktok ♬ Berry Pie – Dolly Parton

The Pecan Pie Brownies unanimously won, however, everyone commented that they loved them both!

If you HAVE to choose only one, go for the pecan pie brownie but really…why limit yourself to just one 🙂  Grab both boxes and try them for yourself.
