“I Hope You Dance” Is Trending Thanks to the Netflix Show “Love Is Blind”

“I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack is trending 23 years after it came out, all thanks to the Netflix dating show “Love Is Blind.”

The song was featured several times this season after two cast members named Zack and Bliss connected over their love of the song.

Following the show’s finale last Friday, the song saw a 24% bump in streaming.  Then there was another big surge after the reunion episode on Sunday.

There’s one funny moment on “Love Is Blind” we HAVE to mention.  Early in the season, Zach talked about “I Hope You Dance” . . . but called Lee Ann Womack “Lee Ann WOMBAT” by mistake.

She had a good sense of humor about it when she posted the clip on TikTok saying, “Just call me Lee Ann Wombat from now on.”

@leeannwomackmusic Just call me Lee Ann Wombat from now on 🤣 #loveisblind #loveisindnetflix #ihopeyoudance ♬ I Hope You Dance – Lee Ann Womack
