Morgan Wallen Makes History at Wrigley Field and Gives Back to Chicago Park District

Morgan Wallen achieved another milestone this weekend by becoming the first country artist to sell out back-to-back nights at Chicago’s iconic Wrigley Field.

Bailey Zimmerman, Ernest, and Hardy opened the show, paving the way for Wallen’s two-hour performance. During his set, he surprised the audience by bringing out Lil Durk, a Chicago native, for a special duet performance of their song “Stand By Me.”

In addition to this historic achievement, Wallen also made a generous donation of $100,000 to the Chicago Park District through the Morgan Wallen Foundation. These funds will be instrumental in revitalizing a local baseball field, bringing about a fully upgraded diamond and new backstop, side wings, and dugouts, including extended side wings. The project will also rehabilitate the playing surface to accommodate multiple levels of play.

Before the concert, the singer invited students from nearby high schools backstage to present the donation check.
