Lainey Wilson took to social media to share the news saying, “Well hot dang y’all…I’m joining the one and only, @garthbrooks, in my home state of Louisiana at @caesarssuperdome on Sep. 2 for the Sugar Bowl Country Kick-Off! Tickets go on sale July 21 at 10am CT. Y’all get ready!”

Other festivities set to take place include “Tailgate Town,” a football-themed interactive experience in Champions Square sponsored by New Orleans & Company.

Organizers hope to make “Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff” an annual Labor Day weekend celebration of the start of the college football season.
