Meet Maggie, a 5-year-old shelter dog on a mission to find a loving family who will cherish her as the only pet in their lives.

Maggie was transferred to Chesapeake Humane Society from another shelter and is very friendly with everyone she meets! She is a cuddlebug and would love to just curl up next to you on the couch to watch some football this fall. She would be good in a home with older kids but needs to be the only dog in the house. She will make up for it with lots of love and affection!

As much as Maggie wants to be a lap dog, she needs a family who will take her on walks and get her to the best version of herself she can be!
